The Show opened to the co-hosts running on to the set in their baseball whites, with their names lettered on their backs. This baseball themed episode promises a home run in deliciousness. It's tailgating season.

(Ingredients: Sub Rolls, Capicola Ham, Genoa Salami, Prosciutto, Provolone Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers, Cherry Peppers, Grain Mustard & Relish, Peppers)
(Quick Recipe: Place open sub roll on foil, place your meat of choice and cheese across. Add peppers and sweet pickled relish. Roll in foil. Place on grill, weigh down with a brick and heat for 5 minutes on each side.)

Michael shared that chef and author Anthony Bordain was reported as saying that he questioned why the chefs were on The Chew. "To cook great, delicious food. Tony doesn't do a lot of cooking on TV, so he's left that for us,” replies Michael.

Occupy Wall Street protesters are being wined and dined. The restaurants are giving away food to the protesters and they are gaining weight. One man was reported as gaining 5 pounds in 12 days from all the food.

Carla's Ballpark Ice Cream Sandwiches
(Ingredients: Vanilla Ice Cream, Peanut Butter, Graham Crackers, Coconut, Caramel Corn, Chocolate Chips, Peanuts, Cracker Jacks.)
(Quick Recipe: Add peanut butter to ice cream and mix. Add a small scoop to ½ of a graham cracker. Roll the sandwich into topping of choice. Add to the freezer until the graham crackers are soft.)

Clinton speaks on how much weight the co-hosts are gaining on this show. Holding his stomach in he shows us what he looked like before The Chew and letting his stomach go shows his after The Chew stomach.

Actress Patricia Heaton from The Middle joins Michael in preparing his Polish Boy.
(Ingredients: Cabbage, Red Onion, Garlic, Fresh Jalapeno, Champagne Vinegar, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Sugar, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce, Mustard, Kielbasa Sausage, Hot Dog Buns, ShaSha Sauce.)
(Quick Recipes: Add vinegar to bowl and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Add mustard and whisk. Add jalapeno, mayo, and red onion, whisk. Add cabbage to sauce. Grill sausages. Add fries to oil. Add sausage to bun and top slaw and fries, drizzle with ShaSha sauce.)

Clinton & Carla were matched up against Daphne and Mario. Special guest judges, St Louis Cardinals legend Lou Brock and former Texas Ranger pitcher Mitch Wild Thing Williams joined the panel. It was Clinton's Bacon Cheeseburger Nachos against Daphne's St. Louis Nachos. Clinton took this one.
